Accreditations And Memberships
Accreditation is a voluntary, non-governmental peer review process that may be applied to the university as a whole, or to select programs, groups of programs, or departments within it. Beyond accreditation, the university seeks relevant approvals, licenses, memberships and certifications related to its program offerings and out-of-state operations.
Florida Institute of Technology has been approved by the Office of Education of the U.S. Department of Education.
The university is a member of the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida, the American Council on Education, the College Entrance Examination Board and the American Society for Engineering Education.

Accreditation
Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) Commission on Colleges
Florida Institute of Technology is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, educational specialist, and doctorate degrees. Florida Institute of Technology also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. Aviation Programs Accreditation
Florida Tech's Aeronautical Science and Aviation Management (both with and without Flight) programs are accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI) until 2027.

Applied Behavior Analysis Programs Accreditation
Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI)
The Association for Behavior Analysis International has verified that the courses described in the links below apply toward the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst® or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst® examination. Applicants will need to meet additional requirements before they can be deemed eligible to take the examination.

Florida Tech graduate-level applied behavior analysis degree and certificate programs include ABAI-Verified Course Sequences (VCS). A VCS is a set of courses that has been verified as meeting specific coursework requirements, content hours, and faculty standards. International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE)
The Nathan M. Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)
The Bisk College of Business is a member of the AACSB Business Education Alliance, which the organization describes as “a network of business educators, business, nonprofit, and public-sector organizations dedicated to sharing knowledge and best practices that accelerate innovation in business education.” Membership in AACSB is the first step toward pursuing accreditation; it does not indicate endorsement or accreditation by AACSB.
Global Accreditation Center for Project Management Education Programs
The master of business administration-project management degree program is accredited by the Project Management Institute Global Accreditation Center for Project Management Education Programs (GAC).
Southeast U.S. Higher Education Consortium for International Business
Bisk College of Business is a member of the Southeast U.S. Higher Education Consortium for International Business, a partnership between colleges and universities in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina that shares information, faculty development, teaching material preparation, and proposal and grant writing.

Florida Tech's Doctor of Psychology, Clinical Specialization, is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Psychological Association (750 First Street NE, Washington, D.C., 20002-4212; 202-336-5979).
Flight Training Programs Approvals
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has approved FIT Aviation, a department of Florida Tech, to offer Part 141 flight training.
Chemistry Programs Certification and Membership(s)
The undergraduate program in chemistry is certified by the Committee on Professional Training of the American Chemical Society (ACS). Students may obtain ACS-certified degrees by following a prescribed curriculum.
The chemistry faculty at Florida Tech is a member of the Council for Chemical Research.
